Dual Lane Core Feeder
New to our Engineered Wood Flooring Lamination line is the Union Dual-Lane Core Feeder!
This machine is designed to automatically feed two stacks of plywood cores up to 12" wide into our Union Hot Melt Roller Coater. Feeder incorporates two independent lanes, which feed separately on demand. Each lane includes its own hopper rack system that holds a stack of cores and can accommodate different widths being ran. All cores are fed from the bottom of each stack by the use of two independent pusher cylinders.
The Union Dual Lane Core Feeder includes core thickness plate adjustments for various thicknesses of cores. This adjustment also ensures that only one board from each lane is fed at one time. Cycle controls include a manual operator footswitch to control each individual cycle, as well as an automatic timer control cycle for a continuous style lay-up. Cycle rates of 12 cores per lane per minute can be achieved on this machine!
